Technology can help older adults stay connected to family and friends, reduce feelings of isolation, keep our brains active and sharp, and make everyday tasks (like banking or shopping) a little more convenient.

That's why the Wallace Center partners with the Greenwich Country Day School (GCDS), offering our senior center members access to two technology training programs: Tech-Time and TechCONNECTT.
  • Tech-Time matches older adults with GCDS students for one-to-one instruction and troubleshooting on how to use smart phones, laptops, tablets, and other technology. You can register for this program by calling 203-862-6721.
  • TechCONNECTT is a program that provides equipment, broadband connection, and education to increase digital literacy among older adults. Information on how to apply for this program is below.
To apply for Greenwich’s TechCONNECTT program you:
  • Must be 62 or older
  • Meet residency and income requirements (note that assets are not considered)
  • Note: You are automatically eligible if you are enrolled in or receive Medicaid, a Medicare Savings Program, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
What you’ll receive from the TechCONNECTT program:
