Lori Contadino, MS, CDP heads up the Greenwich Commission on Aging and is the Town’s Municipal Agent for the Elderly. Since January 2013, she has been responsible for identifying and responding to needs of older persons, formulating plans and setting priorities for new and improved services, providing assistance to older adults through advocacy and community outreach efforts, as well as overseeing the management of the newly renovated Wallace Center.

Lori holds a Master’s of Science Degree with a distinction in gerontology (education/administration and counseling), a certification in thanatology, a certification in case management from Boston University Graduate School of Social work, and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She has worked in the field of geriatrics for more than 39 years, and has assisted older adults and their care partners in diverse care settings ranging from community based services through acute and long-term care environments.

Lori is a certified Health Insurance Counselor through the state of Connecticut’s CHOICES program and is leading the Age & Dementia Friendly Greenwich initiative for the Town of Greenwich. Her work resulted in the Town’s designation as the first community in the State of Connecticut to be formally designated as Age & Dementia Friendly. She proudly serves on various boards, advisory boards, and committees, and is a frequent guest speaker for community groups and professional organizations.
