Walking has huge benefits which tend to be overlooked. It can help maintain a healthy weight and lose body fat; prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and more; improve cardio fitness; strengthen your bones and muscles; increase energy levels; improve your mood and sleep; improve your balance and coordination; reduce stress and tension. We start our walk on your own or with friends. We walk between 20 and 30 minutes (depending on weather) at your own pace and finish together working on our arms with various weight exercises. Participants bring their own weights, if not available, you can do the same exercises without weights while working on your range of motion. All this while enjoying the view at Grass Island Pavilion overlooking the Sound.
